First visit of H.H. in Hamburg
On January 5 and 6, 2010, His Holiness Gyalwang Drukpa visited the Hanseatic City of Hamburg for the first time.
After a town hall reception at the invitation of the First Mayor of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, Ole von Beust, and an entry in the city's Golden Book, H.H. gave an address on "Is Buddhism a religion?" and teachings on the question "What is life worth?" as part of the two-day event at the Curio House.
We Hamburg Drukpas were and are extremely glad and happy about this honor and the very positive response to this high Buddhist visit with about 700 listeners in the Curio House and a large media echo.
