H.E. Kyabje Thuksey Rinpoche: Teachings in Chenresig
H.E. Kyabje Thuksey Rinpoche: Chenresig
Thuksey Rinpoche has given extraordinarily profound teachings on tara practice at the Hamburg Drukpa Center. In his inspiring words, he has repeatedly pointed out the value of pure and compassionate motivation. This, he said, is the foundation of successful spiritual practice.
His Eminence responded to the request of many for refuge in the Buddha, the Dharma and the Sangha. These beneficial days were then crowned with an initiation into Tara practice and a festive Ganachakra.
The highlight of the second day of profound Dharma teachings by H.E. Drukpa Thuksey Rinpoche was the initiation into Chenresig practice.
Thuksey Rinpoche taught in detail that the Tsok ceremony could reduce our attachment, provided the offerings were given completely freely and in pure motivation. He explained that Dharma practice is not limited to a formal practice in the morning. Every second we are able to apply the Dharma and practice patience, compassion, or generosity, for example.
Thuksey Rinpoche is one of the most important Drukpa masters. In his previous incarnation, he was the first teacher of His Holiness Gyalwang Drukpa. In the meantime, Drukpa Thuksey Rinpoche has returned to the spiritual and administrative leadership of the Druk Sangag Choeling Monastery, which he founded in Darjeeling, and is one of the main pillars of the Drukpa lineage. Among other things, he is responsible for the management of the award-winning school "Druk Pema Karpo" in Ladakh.
