Ven. Drubpon Ngawang: Teachings on the "Bardo Prayer"
Even before the organization of the 800th anniversary celebration of the Drukpa Order at the European Drukpa Center in Plouray/France, its leader, Venerable Drubpön Ngawang Tenzin Pagsam Yongdu, gave teachings in the Buddha Dharma at the Druk Kunzig Ling at the end of June 2012.
Ven. Drubpon Ngawang gave explanations and expositions on the "Bardo Prayer", a prayer text composed by H.H. the 2nd Gyalwang Drukpa Kunga Paljor (1428-1476). This text deals with the processes of death and bardo and shows the great transfomation potential of these states.
We are very grateful to Ven. Drubpon Ngawang Tenzin has provided an in-depth approach to this extremely important aspect.
Venerable Drubpon Ngawang is the European representative of the entire Drukpa Order. He is constantly working to spread the teachings throughout Europe. In 2007 he was elevated by H.H. Gyalwang Drukpa to the position of "Drubpon", which means "perfected master of spiritual practice". Learn more about him here.
