H.E. Gyaltsen Tulku Rinpoche and Drubpön Ngawang

The visit

The Bhutanese Yogi and Drukpa master His Eminence Gyaltsen Tulku Rinpoche – together with Venerable Drubpon Ngawang and Lama Sönam – graced our Hamburg Druk Kunzig Ling centre from 1st to 3rd March with their visit.

On the first day, H.E. gave a speech about “Wisdom, love and compassion” in the Hamburg Museum of Ethnology (Völkerkundemuseum) – a museum, whose treasures include a precious statue of Tsangpa Gyare the 1st Gyalwang Drukpa.

On the following two days He blessed all of us with profound Mahamudra teachings. 75 people participated in order to be blessed in this ceremony. Many of them came to the Chenrezig empowerment, the Buddha of infinite compassion.

Gino Leineweber, free author and co-director of the association "Buddhisten Vihara” in Hamburg, interviewed H.E. Gyaltsen Tulku Rinpoche during his visit to Hamburg. All our thank goes to Gino Leineweber, who made the transcription available to us. The complete interview can be found here (PDF).
